The 920th Rescue Wing is proud to announce its 2024 Airmen of the Year. This wing-level distinction recognizes high-performing rescue Airmen who exceed expectations of Air Force core values, leadership and job performance.

— Airman: Staff Sgt. Trevor Crain, 306th Rescue Squadron

— Non-Commissioned Officer: Staff Sgt. Brian Klemfuss, 920th Communications Flight

— Senior NCO: Senior Master Sgt. Michael Mau, 920th Maintenance Squadron

— First Sergeant: Senior Master Sgt. Jamie Carbary, 305th Rescue Squadron

— Company Grade Officer: 1st Lt. Jesse Roberts, 305th Rescue Squadron

— Field Grade Officer: Maj. Michael Rebar, 920th Aerospace Medicine Squadron

— Civilian: Mr. Ricardo De La Cruz Jr., 920th Force Support Squadron

The 920th RQW is AFRC’s only CSAR wing, whose mission is to plan, lead, and conduct military rescue operations and missions to deny competitors and adversaries exploitation of isolated personnel.
