U.S. Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM) mission is to Man, train, equip, educate, deploy, resource, and sustain forces to conduct direct action and special reconnaissance, support advise-and-assist programs, and build partner capability, in or out of the maritime environment, by employing tailored capabilities in support of military commanders, chiefs of mission, interagency, and foreign partners and allies.

NAVSPECWARCOM:
- Naval Special Warfare Group 1 (NSWG-1):
- Includes SEAL Teams 1, 3, 5, and 7
- Naval Special Warfare Group 2 (NWSG-2):
- Includes SEAL Teams 2, 4, 8, and 10
- Naval Special Warfare Group 4 (NWSG-4):
- Includes Special Boat Teams 12, 20, and 22
- Naval Special Warfare Group 8 (NWSG-8):
- Includes SEAL Delivery Vehicle Teams 1 and 2, Logistics Support 3, Special Reconnaissance 1 and 2, Training Detachment 3, and Mission Support Center
- Naval Special Warfare Group 11 (NWSG-11):
- Includes SEAL Teams 17 and 18, which are part of the Navy Reserve
- Naval Special Warfare Center: Includes the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School
- Naval Special Warfare Development Group: Formerly known as SEAL Team 6, this group is assigned operationally to JSOC
